Larry Dalton, a beloved Steinway artist and Christian musical minister extraordinaire, passed away of a heart attack in his sleep at his new home in Tulsa early Saturday morning May 30, 2009. Larry was 63 (born April 24, 1946) and in good health. According to friends, there was no warning. He was pursuing an enjoyable, vigorous schedule as usual. He was to get on a plane the next morning to fly to New York to meet with Steinway executives on future plans, but alas, God had another appointment in mind for Larry.

In recent months, Larry spent a great deal of time working with the Oral Roberts University Music Department to help raise funds for a project close to his heart: the Steinway Initiative. Larry wanted to help make more Steinway pianos available for the training of ORU music students.

To honor Larry's life, you may make a gift to the "Larry Dalton Memorial Fund/Steinway Initiative". Follow this link to give online. https://www.oru.edu/giftplanning/larrydalton/
